John Zender

Zender is internationally known for his public art, producing over 300 murals throughout the U.S and in Europe. He also spends much of his time working on his personal easel work. His work has been exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Zero-1 Gallery, Pueblo Gallery, CSDI, ICU Gallery and many others. He has had several one man shows and many group shows, exhibiting with Chicano artists, Graffiti artists.
Most of his early work now reside in private collections and his current work is also being widely collected.

DARCY ALONSO

Currently working on her bachelors degree at California State University Los Angeles, Darcy has tutored and mentored many children for the Los Angeles Unified School District and is also a private tutor for gifted children. She is highly gifted in mathematics and Child Developtment. she was an instrumental component for the children of the Family Literacy Avocates of Southern California parent and child learning program in East Los Angeles. |

Producer, performer, has found a way to bring 35 years of artistic experience and community activism under one roof. Rock Rose Gallery in Highland Park, CA
Now in its sixth year, provides a nurturing environment for both professional and aspiring artists, actors, musicians, etc. From art exhibitions, to concerts, to family drum circles, to after-school programs, a collaboration with Family Literacy Advocates of Southern California.
Rosamaria has been an integral part of the Los Angeles arts community since moving here from Ontario, California in 1971 to perform in Angie's Garage, an ABC television program for children. She continued performing , while exploring her options behind the camera working on such pioneer public affairs programs as “Impacto” KNBC; “It Takes All Kinds” KCBS; KCET’s “Acción Chicano”; guest producer /host for Alicia Sandoval’s “Let’s Rap” on KTTV. Production credits for film include: “First Blood” with Sylvester Stallone, “Universal Soldier “ with Jean-Claude Van Damme, and as Co-Producer and Casting Director of "Atomic Blue: Mexican Wrestler”, for Theater: Bilingual Foundation of the Arts, Inner City Cultural Center, the Latino Theater Co., Project Producer for the Latino Theater Initiative at the Mark Taper Forum, Producing Associate for Anna Devear Smith's Twilight at the Mark taper Forum, Community Relations Manager for the L. A. Opera and production associate for the Latin Jazz Festival (The Greek, Universal Studios and California Plaza), associate producer for Rodri Entertainment Group's Standing Ovation Series at the Ford Amphitheatre. Co-Producder of the 2003 premiere performance of TANGO FIESTA by Gus Flaherty at the Wilshire Theatre in Beverly Hills. Rosamaria’s mentors included Francisca Flores (Chicana Service Action Center) and C. Bernard Jacskon (Inner City Cultural Center. She is a recipient of HOPE (Hispanas Orgainized for Political Equality) Ray of Hope Award in 1997 for her accomplishments in the performing arts.
Currently she is producing the 1st Annual Latin Jazz and Arts Festival at Prado Regional Park for San Bernardino County and Moret: Enamorado de Ti bolero concert at Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach.

Artist – exhibited at many galleries throughout L.A. and Santa Ana, and throughout the community.
Traditional Permaculture (permanent agriculture) Consultant – promote that Food is Medicine and Medicine is Food. Design and Maintain Self-sustainable, self-providing permanent agricultural sites that work in harmony with Tlanantzin (Mother Earth). Creating self-sustainable autonomous communities.
Bead-work – work with glass beads on loom, rosettes, and peyote stitch.

"SANOizm" means the state of being Spiritual Ground or Simple Art Nice Outlinez.
The Sanoizm (b. Ayumi Chisolm 1971, East Cleveland, Ohio).. Born of Japanese and Black parents, Sano has always tried to find balance in understanding bi-culturalism in his art, as well as the dualistic idealogies of fine art vs. graffiti art. In 1997 and 98 Sano won several categories of the International Graffiti Art
Competition, held in Los Angeles. In addition, Sano has done art work for many people, events and organizations throughout the US and Japan. As well as
teaching fundamental aspects of aerosol art techniques and history to elementary, high-school, and university level art students. Sano currently has a private
design lab in Los Angeles, California.
